The m-XAUV's will have a plunger assembly for controlling the descents and ascents, andwill be equipped with temperature sensors, conductivity and pressure (optionally also pH) and a GPS receiver. An inertial sensor will reveal the trajectories during the dives and a communication module satellite will ensure the transmission of data collected, after finishing the operations with the aircraft's. A solar panel will feed a lithium battery while the device is at the surface, enabling to extend the operation time.
